TEXAS WORKFORCE COMMISSION Microsoft 365 Applications and Endpoint Admin (Telework) in Austin, Texas

WHO YOU ARE: Seeking an IT professional enthusiastic about promoting Microsoft 365 Applications and Endpoint technologies and skilled in helping customers understand, customize, and deploy solutions to meet their current and future business needs. This position requires extensive knowledge of the capabilities, use, and implementation of the products and technologies available in Microsoft 365. Must communicate in a professional, customer-focused manner and be able to discuss complex technical issues to audiences of varying technical skill and ability.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: The Microsoft 365 Applications and Endpoint Admin performs highly complex (senior-level) systems administration work. Work involves coordinating the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of systems. Installs and upgrades computer components and system software. Works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Must have a secure, dedicated workspace with Internet service, ability to maintain a reliable consistent work schedule and be available for weekly meetings and group collaboration via Microsoft Teams and other applications during regular business hours.

YOU WILL BE TRUSTED TO: -Administer to SharePoint using the admin center to create and manage sites, designate site admins, manage sharing settings, and manage Microsoft 365 groups, including creating, deleting, and restoring groups, and changing group owners. -Promote the adoption of Microsoft 365 Applications technologies at TWC through the development, implementation, and delivery of informational campaigns, small group seminars, and group or individualized training. -Leverage TWCs existing investment in Microsoft 365 Applications and Endpoints to develop, deploy, and maintain customized and standard solutions to solve customer issues and meet business needs. -Develop and maintain documentation of Microsoft 365 Applications and Endpoint governance, processes, procedures, knowledge base articles and implemented customer solutions. -Troubleshoot, diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex Microsoft 365 Applications and Endpoint technical issues experienced by customers. -Troubleshoot, diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Microsoft Intune, and Workstation technical issues. -Coordinate resources across multiple teams to solution, implement, and support Microsoft 365 Applications and Endpoint. -Stay up to date on Microsoft 365 Applications and Endpoint changes in service and product offerings and assist in maintaining agency cloud services roadmap. Ensure supervisor and Change Approval Board are informed of all upcoming changes to Microsoft 365 Applications products and services. -Work on multiple concurrent projects/tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. -May be required to work outside normal office hours and days when needed to provide support. -Perform additional duties as assigned and required to maintain operations.

YOU ARE A GREAT FIT WITH: -Experience and training in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting solutions using Microsoft 365 Applications and Endpoint technologies to include: Teams, Skype, PowerBI, Flow, PowerApps, Delve, Forms, OneNote, Planner, Sway, Yammer and Office Suite. -Experience with Microsoft E dpoint Configuration Manager, formerly SCCM. -Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Office 365 Certification -ITIL Foundation Certification -Skill in solving problems; troubleshoot, diagnose, isolate, resolve and document. -Strong written and verbal communication skills; clearly and accurately document relevant issues and discuss issues with audiences of varying technical skill and ability.

YOU QUALIFY WITH: -Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in computer science, management information systems or a related field plus two years of experience in systems administration work. -Education and experience may be substituted for one another.
