Google Manager, Technical Residency Program, Google Cloud in Austin, Texas

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience organizing training programs or creating training content.

  • 2 years of experience in project management.

  • 2 years of experience working with leadership and stakeholders across organizational units and geographies.

  • 2 years of experience in a sales organization in pre-sales, customer engineering, or a delivery role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working in or with Cloud role profiles such as Field Sales, Customer Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Solutions Consultant Engineer, Cloud Consultant, or Solution Engineer.

  • Experience in coaching and managing culturally diverse teams and driving a high performance culture.

  • Knowledge of Google Cloud and/or other Cloud platforms.

  • Ability to build, manage and execute large-scale programs in a cross-functional and complex environment with ability to influence at senior levels without direct authority.

  • Ability to build strong relationships at every level of the organization.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$234,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Develop the site location strategy in Austin, working with regional and functional leadership in technical domains, staffing, strategy, and operations to accomplish program objectives.

  • Establish collaborative relationships with internal teams and stakeholders worldwide to optimize content and materials, ensuring their effectiveness and alignment with success criteria.

  • Design and implement programming for our Business Rotations, including securing mentors for rotations and effectively managing performance and progress of Cloud Technical residents throughout their training schedule.

  • Oversee a cohort of early career professionals (Residents), offering feedback, coaching, and resources, while assessing their readiness and advocating on their behalf.

  • Collaborate with rotation managers to deliver training and coaching on providing developmental feedback and sharing best practices.
