Serves as initial contact and coverage for HR office. Greets employees, visitors, and students in English and Spanish, determines their needs, and directs them appropriately. Answers and refers phone calls and inquiries to ensure accurate and timely communication. Responds to requests for information. Provides quality internal and external customer service. Assists applicants and new hires in English and Spanish with completing and submitting required paperwork. Explains procedures. Handles sensitive and secure documents appropriately. Handles confidential, routine, and non-routine information. Advises managers and supervisors on HR processes and requirements for employment-related matters.Provides administrative support functions for the HR office. Schedules and organizes meetings, calendars, and office activities utilizing SharePoint and Outlook. Maintains monthly task lists, metrics, and deadlines. Finalizes audits of completed processes utilizing checklists within ticket system. Utilizes internal software and processes to complete tasks and communicate with coworkers.Assists with keying employee position assignments into HRIS. Assists with marketing, recruiting, and advertising for open positions and assists with the application process. Maintains and updates filing systems for the HR office. Manages the collection of recurring employment documents and files. Retrieves information from files when needed. Photocopies and transmits information and documents. Performs data entry. Completes special projects, including disseminating information. Works independently and as a team on nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
