Job Summary

Electrical design responsibilities for our Design/Build construction projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Designs electrical systems using Revit, based on established standards for products, components, and applications.

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

  • Assists Electrical Engineers with electrical design.

  • Assist with department representatives, architects, engineers, and consultants to establish project requirements, and specifications. Assist with the development and approval of architectural and engineering construction drawings

  • Assist with preparation of project documentation

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Design, Engineering or equivalent education and experience

  • Experience working for a contractor on electrical systems design or in the field is a plus.

  • Ability to work both independently or in a team environment

  • Small amount of travel is expected with this position, short duration determined as required for project design and execution

  • Computer literate with MS Office product offerings including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc

  • Proficiency in Revit.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, in both written and oral work
