Summary:

Creator Marketing contributes directly to Meta's mission by connecting creators with their audiences and helping them grow through a variety of creator focused tools and features. We succeed when we help our creators grow on our platforms and engage with their audience in meaningful ways. As a result, our marketing team seeks to understand how our creators feel about our products and their experience on our platforms so that we can help them better understand Meta’s intent and guide our creators to key features.The Creator Marketing Data Science team is seeking an exceptionally skilled data scientist who excels at the intersection of data, human behavior, marketing, product development, and engineering. In this capacity, the Data Scientist will conduct experiments, develop models, and provide valuable insights into our creator base, identify potential opportunities, and evaluate the effectiveness of our marketing strategies and tactics. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for problem-solving, innovation, delivering data-driven insights, and thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Required Skills:

Data Scientist, Creator Marketing Responsibilities:

  1. Take advantage of massive amounts of structured data to understand how our customers interact with our product and service offerings

  2. Proactively identify opportunities to improve the experience of creators on the Meta family of apps

  3. Lead the measurement, analysis, and interpretation of results from data requirement gathering, to modeling, and recommendations

  4. Partner with cross-functional teams to identify new opportunities requiring the use of modern analytical and modeling techniques

  5. Design and execute experiments (e.g., A/B testing, multi-armed bandit)

  6. Communicate insights and recommendations to marketing leads and influence strategic decision-making

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  2. 5+ years of experience in a data science capacity in a business strategy, marketing, finance, engineering, or analytics organization

  3. 5+ Experience with data querying and manipulation using SQL, Python, or R Experience with experimental design

  4. Experience with data analysis and statistical modeling using the R or Python ecosystems, with packages such as pandas, Statsmodels, Scikit-learn, Tidyverse (dplyr, ggplot2, etc.)

  5. Experience with stakeholder communication and presentation skills

  1. An MBA or Master’s or Doctorate degree in a quantitative discipline like Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Operations Research

  2. Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, experience initiating and driving projects with minimal oversight and guidance

  3. Proven track record of leveraging data to deliver business value and present data-driven insights to senior leaders

  4. Experience developing data pipelines via SQL and Python-based ETL framework

  5. Experience with online marketing and advertising data analysis

  6. Experience building cross functional relationships across a variety of functions to launch projects to drive business value

  7. Experience communicating with and influencing technical and non-technical audiences (engineers, data scientists, program managers, marketers)

Public Compensation:

$134,000/year to $204,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
