Job Description

We are looking for professional, successful, career-minded salespeople to sell David Weekley Homes' floor plans to be built on customers' own home sites in the Austin area as a part of our Build On Your Lot Team.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Meeting monthly/quarterly/annual sales goals

  • Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction

  • Prospecting, marketing & promoting new business

  • Follow up with prospects throughout the sales process

  • Maintaining a relationship with area Developers, Brokers, and Land Owners

  • Working & communicating effectively with customers & team-members

  • Understanding the construction loan process

  • Ability to work weekends, evenings & some holidays

    Candidates must possess:

  • Previous Construction, Real Estate, or New Home sales experience, or 2+ years successful OUTSIDE sales experience required.

  • Realtors must be willing to place their Real Estate license in "inactive" status if hired

  • Proven closing/negotiating skills

  • Strong communication skills both verbal & written, with the ability to “talk in pictures”

  • Great listening skills & creative problem solving abilities

  • A proven background in prospecting and marketing for new business

  • Proactive follow up with prospective customers

  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as individually

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Proven Marketing strategies

  • A high level of enthusiasm, as well as a high energy level

  • Integrity

  • Ability to prioritize & multi-task
