Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Full Stack Software Engineer to join our development team to build the next generation of Cloud and Service Management capabilities for the SHI One platform. As aSoftware Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, andmaintainingsoftware solutions in a diverse technology stack including .NET, React, SQL Server, Databricks, Python, and Elasticsearch. Responsibilities

Includes, but not limited to:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, andmaintainsoftware solutions using various programming languages and technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, React, SQL Server, Databricks, Python, Terraform, Elasticsearch, and Power BI. 

  • Demonstrate a keen problem-solving mindset and the ability to think critically toidentifyand address complex technical issues efficiently. 

  • Exhibita strong desireto learn and explore emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends, continuously enhancing your knowledge and skills. 

  • Maintaina high levelof attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality code through code reviews, testing, and debugging. 

  • Display self-motivation and take initiative to work independently as well as collaboratively in a remote team environment. 

  • Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, readily adapting to changing project requirements and technologies. 

  • Create andmaintaincomprehensive technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and support continuous development efforts. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 

  • 2+ years of software development experience

  • 1+years experiencedeveloping modern web applications using Java, C#, or Python(backend)and Angular, React or Vue(frontend)

Required Skills

  • Excellentspoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, withtheability to present ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technicalaudiences

  • Hands-on experience with developing Platforms-as-a-Service applications on either Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services 

  • Hands-on experience with developing solutions using relation databases including SQL Server or PostgreSQL 

  • Hands-on experience with ORM frameworks including Entity Framework Core and Hibernate 

  • Conversational understanding of DevOps methodologies and concepts 

  • Understanding of Test-driven development (TDD) and an ability to write effective unittests 

Certifications Required

Preferred

  • AWS or Azure Certification

Additional Information

  • The estimated annual pay range for this position is $60,000 - $125,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
