Job Purpose: Corporate Communications Interns will work with communications leaders – getting exposure in diversified areas of a major corporation.

Responsibilities:

  • Exposure to CR and other communications segments

  • Hunger-related project work/research

  • Assist with Inclusion and Diversity communications/award opportunities

  • Conducting focus groups on some CR related topics

Requirements:

  • Must graduate in August 2025, December 2025, May 2026 and major in Marketing, Agribusiness, Business Administration, Communications, or any other aligned degree program with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA preferred

  • Demonstrated leadership, persuasive, initiative, and communication skills are necessary for success in this position

  • Possess a strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit

  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States

  • Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa

  • Must be comfortable with the preparation and consumption of a variety of Hormel Foods Products which may include but not limited to pork, beef, chicken, and peanuts.

  • This position will require access to and/or the utilization of a personal motor vehicle to get to and from the workplace.

Compensation/Benefits:

  • Competitive wage

  • The base pay range is $19 to $21 per hour; however, actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location

  • Paid housing allowance

  • Reimbursement of all expenses incurred on the job

  • Company 401k match

  • Earn Paid Time off
