Perform equipment and facilities electro-mechanical troubleshooting, preventative and repair maintenance activities. Maintains a safe working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies. Use extreme care when exposed to high voltage and arch flash potential energy sources. Possess a good understanding and have practical PLC programming and control logic diagnostic experience. Skilled with the operation of overhead and jibs cranes, scissor lifts and bucket lifts. Skilled with performing PM tasks, complete PM work orders, lubricate, service fluids and take oil samples, change oils, filters and proper disposal. Skilled in performing machine component maintenance tasks. Experience and knowledge of electrical / electronic principals. Experience with reading and interpreting drawings and schematics to perform trouble shooting and equipment diagnostic tasks. Other Skills and Abilities 1. Mathematical - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as: proportions, percentages, area, weight, temperature, velocity, circumference, material strength and volume. Ability to apply concepts of algebra, trigonometry, physics and geometry. Ability to convert numbers from decimal to binary, BCD and hexadecimal and to identify typical discrete and analog inputs and outputs. Ability to convert units of measure, temperature, volume, energy and proportions and pressure. 2. Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. 3. Language - Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. 4. Computers and Electronics - The ability to utilize ACAD, Excel, Power Point and Word software. 5. Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate.
