Shamrock Foods Routing Manager in Aurora, Colorado

Description: The Routing Manager manages routing process improvements. They manage streamlining the overall routing process throughout multiple branches and head change management for new process implementation, partnering with and training associates throughout the Enterprise.

Essential Duties: Manage routing processes, delivery schedules, electronic logs, and driver scheduling Maintain access and customer profiles in Roadnet and Sales Tools Improve customer record keeping Develop cost analysis for new customers Identify and evaluate solutions for improving driver scheduling Research tools and systems to facilitate dispatch activities Provide effective feedback to associates and management Travel to multiple branches and work with teams to improve distribution operation Maintain a good relationship with all transportation and sales team Establish equipment utilization solution Monitor, communicate and improve on times deliveries Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, company policies and DOT laws Track and record vehicle maintenance records in dispatch software Assign equipment according to factors such as length of trip, cube, and route equipment Provide detailed schedules for customers including delivery days, order cutoff, and delivery times Coordinates with drivers, dispatchers, and warehouse management team to ensure on time dispatches Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. Degrees in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering/Sciences or Business a plus. 4+ years related experience Experience in a food-service distribution environment preferred Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time Strong analytical and data management skills Demonstrated leadership and growth potential Ability to thrive in a team environment Must be available to work with the demands of the department which are subject to overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays Physical Demands: Regularly standing and walking Reaching with hands and arms to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds Occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Salary of $80,000 to $90,000, depending on competency, experience, qualifications and skills.
