Our location in Aurora, CO has an opening for a Maintenance Inventory Clerk.
The Maintenance Inventory Clerk will work under general supervision to coordinate activities involved with purchasing MRO supplies, services, and equipment for various departments in accordance with company purchasing policies and procedures. She/He maintains an accurate inventory of maintenance parts needed for production equipment to limit downtime resulting from equipment breakdown.
Your Day-to-Day -Assures the availability of parts in a cost-effective manner. -Maintains inventory levels, preventive maintenance schedules, and corrective maintenance performed on all units. -Inputs maintenance information into the computerized system daily. -May act as a point of contact with vendors to order, receive and ensure payment for goods and services. -Prepares purchase orders for management approval, including assignment of general ledger codes. -Receives and dispenses parts to mechanics according to policy and local operating procedures. -Reviews purchase orders with accounting to ensure accuracy and proper payment of invoices. -Produces various productivity and usage reports for management review. -Follows all safety policies and procedures; participates with the team to achieve safety goals -Assures parts organization and inventory. -Understands the management of Quality Systems and is familiar with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices which help ensure the safety within the workplace and the production of a safe and quality product(s). -Adheres to PPE requirements as required. -Other duties as assigned.
What You Bring to the Team -Able to stay focused in a loud working environment. -Must have reliable transportation and can work a flexible schedule. -Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends if necessary. -Must be able to understand and follow written instructions. -Must understand basic mathematical concepts. -Must be able to work in a fast paced, team environment. -Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment requiring strict -work/safety rules 100% of the time. -Basic computer skills required. -Proficient in Microsoft office
