Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility for the diagnosis and management of children and adolescents with a variety of acute and chronic medical and behavioral issues in children with developmental conditions including autism, ADHD, developmental delays, and intellectual disability in our outpatient clinic.
Serve as a member of a vibrant interdisciplinary team providing evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents with Fragile X and sex chromosome disorders.
Psychopharmacologic medication management for conditions including ADHD, anxiety, irritability, and other behavioral challenges.
Provide clinical supervision for advanced practice nursing, physician assistant and/or medical students

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's or Doctoral degree in nursing or physician assistant (MPAS)
Eligible for licensure in Colorado as an Advanced Practice Nurse (FNP, PNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
Condition of Employment:
Must successfully pass a drug test through Children's Hospital Colorado
Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years of nursing or advanced practice experience in developmental pediatrics
Experience with Standardized Developmental and Behavioral Assessments and Questionnaires
Prescriptive authority in Colorado
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Broad knowledge and clinical skills in child development
Commitment to Patient Safety, Quality Care, Communication and Customer Service

Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics clinical care of children and adolescents with Fragile X syndrome, Sex chromosome disorders such as XXY (Klinefelter syndrome), Trisomy X, and other neurodevelopmental conditions in an outpatient setting. The starting salary range () for this position has been established as $51,500. The above hiring rate represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate of possible compensation at the time of posting.
