Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our dynamic team, responsible for establishing and maintaining all manufacturing equipment within our production areas. This role involves maintaining machinery and equipment in optimum working condition, providing technical assistance, scheduling and performing preventative maintenance, and supporting the PM program with the aim of reducing unscheduled downtime.

  • Diagnose, repair, and replace electrical components for various types of manufacturing equipment.

  • Electrical problem-solving, control wiring, board repairs, and proficiency with electrical measurement devices and mechanic tools.

  • Ability to read and interpret operation manuals, electrical schematics, and perform computer-related tasks.

  • Install, wire, and maintain various electrical devices, including relays, photo-eyes, limit switches, and PLC I/O modules.

  • Understand PLCs and Control circuits, with preference for knowledge of AB/Omron Systems.

  • Assist with system startups, operational checkouts, configuration, wiring, calibration, and testing.

  • Complete preventative maintenance, assist in diagnostics, repairs, and rebuilds of machines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of industrial electrical/maintenance experience OR a two-year technical degree preferred.

  • Comfortable with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting including PLCs, VFDs, and Pneumatics.

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English; Spanish is a plus.

  • Must own a set of tools and steel-toed boots.

  • Comfortable reading blueprints.

  • Must be able to successfully complete HACCP Certification.

Available Shifts

  • 1st shift: 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM (*Mondays 2:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Rotating Weekends)

  • 2nd shift: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM (*Rotating Friday-Sunday 12 PM - 12 AM, Rotating Weekends)

  • 3rd shift: 8:00 PM - 4:30 AM (*Sundays 6 PM - 6 AM, Rotating Weekends)

OT is often available, with mandatory requirements and optional OT during slower periods, usually amounting to an additional 10-20 hours per week.

Pay

$34-37/hour based on experience
