The Associate Research Scientist will work collaboratively with HBFF Research Scientists to assist in the execution of high-quality applied research projects, clinical research studies, evaluation and assessments services for industry partners and executives. Must be able to provide support in start-up, enrollment, follow up and closure of clinical research trial activities. Apply scientific and technical expertise to help formulate, execute, and implement clinical and institutional research project aims. Contribute to disseminating project results through scholarly publications and national/local conference presentations. Co-conduct research projects to fulfill divisional strategic goals in partnership with Research Scientists Publish, present, and disseminate clinical research and treatment outcomes to meet strategic initiatives and advance the field of substance use addiction and recovery

Work closely with executive director, research scientists, and leadership team to establish standardized procedures and complete tasks.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: Master's degree in relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Biostatistics, Public Health, Epidemiology, etc.) Minimum two years related experience (clinical research data collection and analyses, ethics, research methods, clinical research coordination) Direct experience in either qualitative and quantitative data collection and analyses Knowledge of substance use treatment and recovery field Direct technical writing experience (grant-writing, peer-reviewed publications, etc.) Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Biostatistics, Public Health, Epidemiology, etc.)

Four years related experience (clinical research data collection and analyses, ethics, research methods, clinical research coordination Direct support and experience in both qualitative and quantitative research projects (single and multi-site)

Direct experience with implementation of clinical research studies within healthcare systems

Federal and state grant writing experience
