We make real what matters. This is your role:

• You'll be responsible for Sourcing of commodities like Heavy Fabrication, FRP Parts, Ceramic Parts.

• You'll be also responsible for Pooling the Steel Structure & Insulators Commodities across the SE Business.

• You'll also be responsible for the negotiation with supplier to settle the Best Buying Cost.

• You’ll will be responsible for Contract/Rate Negotiation, E Auction, Defining Commodity Strategy, Supplier Management, Supplier Risk Monitoring,

Supplier Development, Supplier Conflict Management.

• You’ll will be responsible for maintaining the Supplier Data in Vendor Master.

• You'll also be responsible to train other Team members for deriving the Buying Cost.

• You'll work on cost reduction using various techniques like negotiations, alternate process development, design-to-cost, etc.

• You will work along with cross functional team members to drive cost reduction projects.

• You are a Mechanical Engineer (B.E. / B.Tech)

• You should have 10 to 15 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management or with relevant experience in Strategic Sourcing.

• Knowledge of TcPCM will be an added advantage.

• You should have expertise in deriving Buying cost.

• You Should have sound knowledge of Heavy Fabrication Process / operations viz Welding, Plasma/Laser Operation, Punching & Press Operations, Hot Dip Galvanizing, Painting Plating Process.

• You Should have sound knowledge of FRP manufacturing Process Viz – Filament Winding, Vacuum Molding.

• You Should have fair understanding of trend of Commodity Market Prices.

• You have basic knowledge of SAP.

• You’ve strong written and verbal communication skills.

• You have knowledge of Market / supplier base domain preferably in this industry.

• You will take initiative on cost reduction initiatives & demonstrate with pro-active actions for making it happen.

• You’ve strong passion to work in a team, hardworking & transparent in nature.
