UMB Bank Identity Governance Support Engineer (Hybrid/Remote) in Augusta, Maine
The NetIQ Infrastructure team provides support for our NetIQ identity and access management system that is widely used for single sign-on access and identity management for web applications and associated systems. This allows UMB strong security presence and mitigating any potential risks that may disrupt normal business operations.
UMB has a robust and evolving infrastructure, serving both on-premises and cloud IT systems. This requires a complex, but flexible identity and access governance environment. As an Identity Governance Support Engineer , you will be focused on operational readiness and continued development to allow for enhancements, new features, and new integrations.
This role is hybrid (Tue & Wed on-site) for candidates in the Kansas City metropolitan area and open to qualified remote candidates outside of the Kansas City area but only within the US. Periodic on-call and off-hours availability is expected.
How you’ll spend your time:
Perform recurring system administration tasks including serving as the primary support for OpenText Identity Governance and as a leader in periodic access review exercises, working with internal audit and other teams as required.
Provide secondary support for OpenText eDirectory, Identity Management, and Access Manager.
Support the existing enterprise IAM program, recognizing opportunities for improvement and innovation as needed, while taking initiative to design solutions that provide a tangible value to the organization.
Design and implement automation and role-based access solutions to meet existing and new requirements.
Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships across the organization to help with expectation setting, training, and awareness, and promote consistency and improvement in our processes.

We’re excited to talk with you if:
You have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar discipline OR at least 7 years of relevant IT work experience.
You have at least 5 years of experience with OpenText (formerly NetIQ/Microfocus) Identity Management and Identity Governance products.
You have strong knowledge of enterprise directories (eDirectory and Active Directory) including access management, account security, directory connectivity and maintenance.
You have knowledge of Identity Governance principles, best practices, and business application.
You have experience with internal and external access review, audit, and compliance exercises.
You have experience with Windows 10/11, Windows 2019/2022 Server, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems.
You have knowledge of key scripting languages including, Python, BASH, and PowerShell.
You have knowledge of project management and ITIL fundamentals.

Compensation Range:
Minimum: $83,200.00 - Maximum: $214,560.00
