DXC Technology Operations Delivery Manager - Onsite in Bath, Maine in Augusta, Maine

Job Description:

Essential Job Functions:

  • Team Administration: Manage a team of 4-8 members, providing leadership and guidance.

  • Operations Leadership: Lead the client-facing operations of multiple application groups, ensuring prompt and continuous delivery of services.

  • Application Support: Oversee the maintenance and preventive measures for approximately 30 applications, ensuring high availability and performance.

  • Matrix Management: Collaborate with a matrix-managed team of 40 application developers and analysts supporting around 170 applications.

  • Project Management: Handle development, management, and resource forecasting, time tracking, task prioritization, completion, and escalations for Operations, Project Management, and Run & Maintain tasks.

  • Budget Management: Develop, manage, and improve the application group budgets for each assigned portfolio annually.

  • 24/7 Support: Provide round-the-clock support, including rotational support for escalation.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, users, senior management, and peers to improve processes, troubleshoot issues, report status, and gather requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in application delivery management.

  • Citizenship or Permanent Residency required due to ITAR regulations.

  • Service Level Agreements (SLAs): Proven experience in maintaining and managing SLAs.

  • Team Management: Strong skills in managing and leading teams.

  • Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities.

  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Ability to develop, track, and report on KPIs.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and customer intimacy.

  • Delivery Management: Expertise in delivery management.

  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Proficiency in forecasting and budgeting.

  • Public Trust: Experience handling sensitive and confidential data.

  • Service Improvement: Ability to identify and implement service improvements.

  • Communication: Proficient verbal and written communication skills.

  • Product Lifecycle Management: Knowledge of product lifecycle management.

  • Cross-functional Team Management: Experience managing cross-functional teams.

  • Manufacturing Environment: Familiarity with working in a manufacturing environment.

  • Hiring/Attrition: Experience in hiring and managing attrition.

  • Operations Experience: Strong operations management experience.

  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of MS Office, Jira, Workday, and SharePoint .
