OTA is seeking dynamic and detail-oriented Test Proctors to join our team. The Test Proctor will play a crucial role in facilitating academic and professional development by overseeing test administration processes across multiple government enterprises, with a focus on supporting Learning Centers and Language Testing centers. Responsibilities (Level I)

  • Enroll, register, schedule and confirm test dates on multiple networks as needed by the testing center

  • Deliver and proctor all tests as needed by the testing center

  • Prepare/handle test materials according to regulation

  • Generate reports and Maintain database(s) for statistical and informational purposes

  • Respond to all queries relative to testing and test delivery

  • Adhere to all policies and regulations regarding data integrity for the language testing systems

  • Regularly review all testing correspondence to ensure compliance with all procedures and guidelines Perform basic trouble-shooting on test facility computers

  • Communicate with IT support when necessary to resolve computer problems

  • Provide On the Job Training (OJT) to incoming proctor contractors

  • Issue appropriate forms and send notifications to test takers

  • Perform nightly uploads of test results to the appropriate systems

  • Identify to the Government test staff IT issues that have the potential to negatively impact testing

Qualifications (Level I)

  • Current TS/SCI clearance and Counter Intelligence polygraph

  • High school diploma

  • 2 years of professional or academic proctor experience

  • 4 years experience with Microsoft Office Suite of products (e.g. EXCEL, Word and Power Point) and basic application trouble-shooting skills

  • 2 years experience in a customer service environment

Responsibilities (Level II)

  • Accurately and independently enroll, schedule, register, deliver, proctor and report results for tests

  • Issue appropriate forms (for example DA330) and send notifications to test takers

  • Perform nightly uploads of test results to the appropriate systems

  • Troubleshoot common computer glitches associated with test taking

  • Identify issues that have the potential to negatively impact testing

  • Perform quality control to assure the maintenance of database(s) for statistical and informational purposes

  • Insure all Test Proctors are aware of and adhere to policies and regulations

  • Perform Senior Test Proctor functions as described in AR-611

  • Write testing lab SOPs for contractor personnel as needed

  • Provide familiarization training for test takers where allowed by regulation

  • Perform Test Proctoring of Oral Proficiency Interviews

Qualifications (Level II)

  • Current TS/SCI clearance and Counter Intelligence polygraph

  • High school diploma

  • 4 years of professional or academic proctor experience

  • Experience performing at the Test Proctor Level 1 for a minimum of 12 months and ability to perform all duties at Levels 1 and 2 (time may be waived). Prior experience such as Command Language Program Manager may apply.

  • Ability to post all test scores/grades within one business day from receipt of grade

  • Familiarity with on-line dictionary usage for PQE formatted level-3 tests as appropriate

  • 4 years of demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite of products (e.g., EXCEL, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and SharePoint), and have basic application trouble-shooting skills

  • 3 years documented experience in a customer service environment

Responsibilities (Level III)

  • Must be capable of mentoring Test Proctors at Levels 1, 2 and 3

  • Familiarity with on-line dictionary usage for PQE formatted level-3 tests as appropriate

  • 8 years of demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite of products (e.g., EXCEL, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and SharePoint), and have basic application trouble-shooting skills

  • 7 years documented experience in a customer service environment
