MAG Sr. Logistician in Augusta, Georgia

Position Summary

Conducting work for Product Manager Network Modernization, Product Manager Mission Network, and the Architecture and Engineering Team, the Sr. Logistician will participate in planning, coordinating, scheduling, directing, and controlling logistical support activities applicable to hardware and software and capabilities as it relates At-The-Halt systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Establish and maintain maximum and minimum consumables inventory levels

  • Coordinate with in-house sales team to promote accurate and timely processing of orders for customers

  • Provide assistance for maintaining logistics planning tasks

  • Scan orders into computer and track shipments across multiple channels

  • Approve time sheets associated with deliveries and pick-ups

  • Administer and maintain inventory control program systems

  • Support with maintenance of logistics policies, procedures, support plans and similar data.

  • Manage and monitor the performance of entire fleet, routing and scheduling planning

Requirements

Knowledge and Skills

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking.

  • Experience with Army tactical communications systems (WIN-T Inc1, Inc2, NITE, baseband, transport, switches, routers, servers, Network Modernization systems, Mission Network systems, and commercial wireless products used by Army tactical systems)

  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment, under stress and within time constraints.

  • Excellent project and time management skills; proven ability to function.

  • Independently and make the best use of time, as well as collaborate with a team.

  • Obtain and maintain a current United States Passport

  • Up to 10% travel- CONUS/OCONUS

Education

  • BS, min of 10 years of relevant experience. Minimum of 5 years in the Department of Defense contracting market of major weapon systems product development and acquisitions.

Clearance

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

  • Must have an active Secret Clearance and be eligible to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.

Required Certifications

  • Security+ CE, or Security Plus Continuing Education
