Position Description

This position may work in one of the following modalities: Diagnostic, CT, IR, Mammography, MRI, or Nuclear Medicine. Duties will be consistent with the modality in which incumbent will be working. Candidates must meet the requirements of the modality in which they will be working. This position will report to the modality manager.

Position Requirements

Vocational or technical training or degree: Accredited Radiography Program. If new grad, official transcripts must be submitted and verified within 30 days of hire. Experience required: Diagnostic, Nuclear Medicine: no experience required; CT: 1 year in diagnostic; IR, Mammo, MRI: 2 years in diagnostic. Ability to operate appropriate modality imaging equipment based on department. Ability to communicate verbally and written. Possess excellent patient/customer service skills. Certification(s) required: - For Diagnostic, CT, IR, Mammo: ARRT (R) - For MRI: ARRT (R) or ARMRIT - For Nuclear Medicine: CNMT through NMTCB or ARRT (N) - Plus current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS).
