Description

Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation vehicles,

snowmobiles, side-by-sides, all-terrain vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support equipment. Textron

Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in environments ranging from golf

courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting preserves.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and train all operators on new programming and revised parts.

  • Assist and perform tool changes, setups, and time studies.

  • Ensure measurement gauges are in working order/calibrated and order new gauges when needed.

  • Review and update current work instructions to ensure content is up to date.

  • Work with supervisors to maintain the Quality Countermeasures when defects occur.

  • Identify and work on continuous improvement projects to improve safety, quality, & productivity in the shop.

  • Maintain stock, order necessary shop supplies, back up tooling, etc. within department budget.

  • Collaborate with engineers on new product/product revisions and creating new processes for the New Product

Integration (NPI) projects and revision changes.

  • Serve as interim Supervisor when Ops Supervisor is absent and fill in for critical production areas when needed.

  • Perform routine tooling maintenance and preventative maintenance.

  • Identify and research part shortages and work with fulfillment to expedite materials as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school or GED required, Associates Degree preferred

  • Years of Experience: 3 or more years of relevant experience required, manufacturing or industrial experience

preferred

  • Software Knowledge: Experience with Microsoft Office products and SAP preferred, CAD experience preferred
