**[JOB SUMMARY
[Serve as a Biology Supplemental Instruction Leader for STEM majors on the Augusta campus.

- Attend the BIOL 1107 and BIOL 1108 courses
- Tutor STEM majors enrolled in the BIOL 1107 and BIOL 1108 on the Augusta campus
- Provide update and feedback to the AVP for Academics
- Other duties as assigned
[KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED BY THE POSITION ]{arial",sans-serif"=""}
- Basic computer skills are needed, including the ability to answer emails and create basic excel spreadsheets.
- Basic biology concepts from the BIOL 1107 and BIOL 1108 classes
- The ability to interact with instructors for clarification on desired learning outcomes or material to be covered
- The ability to be patient with struggling learners
- Ability to divide attention to more than one student
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to provide good customer service is essential.

[The AVP for Academics and the Augusta ACE Coordinator supervise, and review work through observation for compliance with procedures, accuracy, and the nature and propriety of the final results[.
