Position Description

The Communication Services Representative is to respond and provide complete and accurate information in support of patients, physicians, administrative staff, and all other health professionals via the Switchboard. Additionally, this position is responsible for activities of the Physicians Answering Service and for all code calls related to the health system (i.e. code 17, code pink, code 99, code RAT, etc).

Position Requirements

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization. Skills required: Databases, Operating Systems. Excellent interpersonal and communication, including good diction, pleasant telephone voice and manners. Excellent grammar.

Preferred Requirements

Ability to work with IDX, Web On-Call, Outlook. Xtend Paging System & Code Alert Systems. Critical thinking. Problem solving.
