Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation vehicles,

snowmobiles, side-by-sides, all-terrain vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support equipment. Textron

Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in environments ranging from golf

courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting preserves.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement shop layouts to improve material flow and increase plant capacity and coordinate placement ofnew equipment to optimize existing shop capacities and new production processes.

  • Develop and implement efficient and safe work methods, lean material process flows, and ensure equipment andtooling for products is efficient and cost effective.

  • Provide training, written instructions, and standard work related to products to manufacturing personnel for criticalprocesses to develop and maintain process capability.

  • Establish time standards by use of approved Industrial engineering practices for accurate measurement of workperformed and facilitate the appropriate approvals to implement into costing system.

  • Evaluate production processes to increase productivity and investigate new methods of enhancing the product.

  • Coordinate material and tooling availability with appropriate stakeholders.

  • Process and implement Engineering Change Notices for products to ensure the design is producible as drawn,methods are defined via routing, and that all time standards, process plans, work plans, and tool orders are definedappropriately.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required

  • Years of Experience: 0-2 years of experience required

  • Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office, Computer Aided Drafting (CAD), SAP
