F & P Forages LLC Ag Equipment Operator in Audubon, Minnesota

Need 4 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag Equipment Operators to work in Audubon, MN. From: 05/01/2024 to 12/02/2024 Work: 50 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 9 hrs./day, Sat. 5hrs./day. 7:00 A.M. TO 5:00 P.M. As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Effective Jan 1, 2024 per MN State Statute, employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) a year. Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employer s discretion. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer s discretion. Must Apply By: 08/17/2024 JOB DESCIRPTION: F & P Forages farms approximately 2000 acres of alfalfa hay, and corn. Most of machine and building maintenance is done in house. We need seasonal employee to assist with all aspects of growing these crops. Employees will need to operate tractors, payloaders, farm-trucks, and miscellaneous farm equipment. Employees will perform maintenance and repairs on equipment, buildings, and property. Employee must be a team player with strong communication skills with a good work ethic. Complete general farm duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) months experience. Regular Class D driver's license. Able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. Job requires extensive walking and repetitive movements. Employer will conduct post-hire random drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Employer will conduct post-hire criminal background checks at no cost to the employee and will not employ anyone with a felony/theft criminal background. No high school diploma or GED is required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
