Jacobs New Zealand Transmission & Distribution (T&D) team is seeking a Substation Team Lead to play a crucial role in managing a technical team delivering consultancy engineering services in the field of High Voltage T&D. This is an exciting opportunity to join our highly regarded Energy & Power team located in Auckland, Christchurch, or Wellington, with flexible work options to suit everyone. We are looking for those interested in a diverse role, which has a broad scope across both team leadership and technical delivery in High Voltage T&D design.   • Work collaboratively with the APAC Substation Section Lead and T&D Geographic Manager to oversee and manage the daily responsibilities of the New Zealand Substation team.

  • Provide High Voltage power transmission consultancy services with a core focus on utilities.

  • Manage and deliver the design of Secondary & Protection Systems for a range of clients.

  • Effectively manage large scale technical design packages and consultancy services.

  • Proactively engage with key clients, including the management of tenders and proposals, and delivering professional reports.
