Some of the Responsibilities:
Assists the Restaurant Manager to ensure that Onemata operates successfully and in accordance with brand standards.
Works closely with the other Outlet Managers in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of guests.
Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships. Handles guest inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and reports guest complaints or problems to supervisors if there is no immediate solution and assure follow up with guests.
To have full working knowledge and capability to supervise, correct and demonstrate all duties and tasks in the assigned place of work to the set standards.
Assists in on-boarding and training new team members
Assists to maximize the effectiveness of employees by developing each of their skills and abilities through the appropriate training, coaching and/or mentoring.
Assist with cost control of payroll and expenses.
Qualifications:
What you need:
Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management
Managers Certificate
3 years experience as a Team Leader in a similar formal dining venue or 2 year experience as an assistant manager?
5 Star hotel experience is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of wines and other beverages
Strong food and beverage service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
