Orion Industries CNC Machinist - 2nd shift in Auburn, Washington

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce aerospace components
- Utilize manual inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to verify product conformance
- Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of the area
- Assist with training of junior employees
- Role model proper work ethics and behaviors
Requirements
- Must be willing to work Monday - Thursday, 3:25 p.m. to 1:55 a.m. with initial training done on day shift.
- Previous manufacturing experience (preferably possessing experience running CNC Mills)
- Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications
- Experience using basic inspection equipment
- Willingness to support training needs of new employees

- Frequent use of hands and fingers to reach, manipulate, handle, and hold material

- Frequent use of speaking ability to express or exchange ideas, communicate detailed information, or convey instructions
- Frequent lifting of 5 or 10 pounds, with occasional lifting to 35 pounds
- Occasional exposure to manufacturing shop floor, requiring use of Safety Glasses
- Infrequent exposure to excess noise levels, necessitating the use of Hearing Protection
