What You Will Do: * Sort, transport, and dispose of both recyclable and non-recyclable materials from pre-determined accumulation points throughout the facility to the appropriate conveyor, compactor, and/or dock door * Operates the appropriate powered equipment to perform routine and special housekeeping functions in support of the facilities cleanliness and safe work environment * Sort, stage, and palletize recyclable cartons for ease of storage, retrieval, and re-use for building operations * Monitor PIT equipment safety checklists and battery health, water as needed * Compliant with all current safety policies and procedures, including the proper use personal protection equipment (PPE) and safe lifting techniques * Identify, respond, and communicate with the facility team on daily and emergent support functions that need additional efforts to maintain recycling, housekeeping, and floor support levels of service * Function independently and efficiently in a variety of tasks throughout the warehouse while Set up and take down the conference rooms in support of facility functions as requested * Conduct daily tie-in information with the oncoming shift using the established reporting format adhering to and maintaining schedules and routines * Sweep, scrub, dust, and vacuum as needed * Pick up litter around the inside and outside of the building as needed * Follow recycle program standards * Other warehouse duties as assigned What You Will Bring: * Pro-active and self-motivated mindset * Willing to learn from mistakes to increase productivity and accuracy * Requires punctual regular and reliable on-site attendance * Good oral & written communication skills * Team oriented * Safety aware and oriented * Desire to learn and grow in responsibilities * Able to learn to use a forklift and other general warehouse equipment Physical Requirements and Work Environment: * Repetitive lifting and pulling of heavy objects (50+ lbs.) * Warehouse environment * Ability to operate a forklift * Typical 40 hour work-week Monday through Friday however based on business needs evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required * Requires punctual regular and reliable on-site attendance Salary & Compensation: This position is non-exempt and is eligible for overtime Pay is $19/hour - $25.38/hour, Why work for North Coast?
