COUNSELOR Responsibilities include assessments, individual & group counseling, referrals, maintaining a caseload, and documentation. CASAC-T, CASAC, LMSW, LMHC required.

Seeking a full-time substance use disorder counselor for our growing program in Auburn, NY.

Duties include on site evaluation assessments, and individual and group counseling. Present Cases at staff meetings for appropriate treatment recommendations Make appropriate referrals for patients to services as needed. Maintain caseload of 35-40 patients Obtain urinalysis and breathalyzer readings from patients regularly Complete all documentation in Electronic Health Record within required timeframes according to OASAS regulations. Have a solid understanding of the 822 regulations and confidentiality. Abide by and comply with all aspects of the Agencys Compliance Program Flexible, friendly, and supportive multi-disciplinary team environment with an excellent benefits package and a 35 hour work week. CASAC, CASAC-T, LMSW, LMHC, or LMFT required. Salary $36,000 - $49,000 depending on experience.
