C & A Tool CNC Swiss Lathe Operator in Auburn, Indiana

CandA Toola leading manufacturer since 1969 of precision machined products for the aerospace, industrial and medical device markets is currently seeking qualified candidates forCNC Swiss Machining. Operating three manufacturing facilities in Northeast Indiana (Auburn / Churubusco) and employing nearly 600 skilled workers, we are an integral part of a larger global manufacturing conglomerate, MinebeaMitsumi.

Pay Range: $17 - $30 per hour with a 10% differential for 2nd and 3rd Shift positions.

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • Dependable
  • Experience running, setting up, and adjusting CNC turning, and/or milling machinery
  • Basic Blueprint and GDandT knowledge
  • Capable using micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators
  • Perform hand work on components such as deburring and minor polishing
  • Shifts: 2nd (3:00pm-11:15pm) /3rd (11:00pm -7:15am)/ 8-hour Shifts / Overtime optional, but typically available

Additional Skills/Knowledge Preferred:

  • Star CNC Swiss machine knowledge
  • Machining experience with Titanium, Stainless, and High Nickel alloys
  • Operation of CMM
  • Troubleshooting/optimizing new CNC programs and processes
  • Hand toolpath programming (angles/radii)

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift 40 lbs. occasionally
  • Standing for prolonged periods of time
  • Moving from one machine to another to maintain production requirements
