**Talascend is currently seeking a Wiring Technician for a contract opportunity located in Auburn Hills, Michigan

OVERVIEW: **

The Wiring Technician is responsible to support the wiring of harnesses and electrical distribution systems and support the inter connection of control modules.

*RESPONSIBILITIES: *

  • Read and interpret vehicle wiring drawings and schematics.
  • Root cause electrical wiring issues.
  • Provide technical interface to the advanced wiring team.
  • Attend design reviews/coordination meetings.

*REQUIREMENTS: *

  • Automotive Wire Harness fabrication and modification.
  • Use of multimeter, oscilloscope and other electrical troubleshooting tools.
  • General computer skills.
  • Outstanding communication and organization skills.
  • High school diploma or GED certificate.

     

*DESIRED: *

  • Associates in in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Vocational training or certification.
  • EDS component experience.
  • CAN Communication Tool Experience: Vector CANAlyzer.
  • Skills: Automotive Electrical.
