Description

Robert Half is currently looking for an experienced Systems Administrator with a thorough knowledge of networking and load-balancing to join their thriving team. If you are a natural problem solver with a strong sense of ownership, you may excel in this role! The long-term contract / temporary Systems Administrator will work in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Major responsibilities

  • Provide service for servers, load-balancers, and data storage across a variety of places and assist with various projects

  • Influence and develop new designs, architectures, standards and methods for large-scale distributed systems

  • Engage in service capacity planning, demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning

    Requirements

  • Working knowledge of clustered and virtual storage solutions

  • 3+ years of related experience

  • A good understanding of HTTP traffic, content delivery and caching, experience with switching & routing

  • Experienced in crafting, analyzing and fixing large-scale distributed systems

  • Command of Intune

  • Strong familiarity with Windows OS, Microsoft O365, SCCM

  • Hardware & Software Troubleshooting, End User Support, Server and Network Infrastructure experience preferred

  • Solid understanding of Windows Azure

  • Network operating systems knowledge - as well as knowledge of programming or scripting language - is highly valued
