The Shipping & Receiving Clerk will manage all aspects of shipping and receiving, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and condition of deliveries. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, including SAP and Microsoft Office, and practical skills in logistics and inventory management. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our supply chain's efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee shipping and receiving processes, including packing, labeling, documenting, and handling of hazardous materials, with a strong emphasis on compliance and safety (IATA, DOT).

  • Utilize intermediate to advanced knowledge of computer systems (SAP, Microsoft Office) for data collection, report preparation, and shipping reports.

  • Conduct inventory audits, establish and maintain materials, and manage routine purchasing tasks in SAP.

  • Coordinate logistics, including scheduling with carriers, tracking packages, and ensuring timely delivery and distribution within the facility.

  • Perform administrative and technical duties, maintaining reports, and recommending process improvements to enhance efficiency.

  • Handle confidential and technical information, ensuring the accuracy of employee nameplates, mail slots, and maintaining stocked floors with necessary materials.

  • Support facilities management tasks such as conference room setups, special event organization, and maintaining the cleanliness and supply of the dock area.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with 1+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), and familiarity with Work Order Management Systems.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Knowledge of hazardous materials handling and customs regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry.

  • Forklift certification and experience with warehouse machinery.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. Employment visas will not be sponsored for this position.
