Currently, we are seeking a Senior System Layout Designer to become a part of the HIROTEC team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Senior System Layout Designer will be responsible for preparing system layouts of automotive assembly/stamping lines or of various processes; performing field checks and documenting findings; creating equipment blocks, models generic tooling, and using block libraries; working with processing, design and simulation to achieve a valid system layout; applying tooling/robot placement to attain a functional system; adhering to customer specifications per project; and must have a good understanding of assembly/stamping system functionality including process, design, robotics, controls, and manufacturing knowledge.

Qualifications: Associate’s Degree; minimum seven to ten years related experience and/or training; knowledge in blueprint reading, design, processing, controls, and manufacturing; understanding standard drafting practices, detailing, dimensioning and projection; understanding basic manufacturing plant structure, processing and material flow; must be proficient in AutoCAD & FactoryCAD, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience in Catia and UniGraphics is preferred.
