Job Description:

The person in this position will be responsible for auditing ATI quality policies and procedures in a low volume, brownfield manufacturing assembly environment. Activities include monitoring various elements of operations quality, problem solving to correct issues, and reporting results. This individual will exercise a high level of independent judgment using a considerable amount of creativity, initiative, and determination. This individual will lead focused teams and will drive corrective action, preventative action, and continuous improvement activities on a variety of tasks.

Key Responsibilities: Administer the 8-D process including driving the team for results / root cause analysis and corrective action. Manage the reliability product tear down audit process. Oversee gauge management and instrument repair systems Conduct and maintain Final CARE audit process for CIC's and other important features (if applicable) Conduct and maintain torque audit process for critical operations during assembly Conduct and maintain quality control plan audits / routes Conduct and maintain incoming inspection part audits for critical components. Use Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) to complete various tasks Communicate and coordinate activities with cross-functional organizations. Implements and actively supports the plant and corporate safety policies and initiatives. Implement good housekeeping standards. Other duties as assigned.

Experience: High level of interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with business partners and diverse work groups to meet mutual goals required. Strong oral and written communication skills required. Knowledge of ISO 9000: TS 16949 requirements. Knowledge of gauging techniques. Ability to effectively use computer software required. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing field. Knowledge of Quality policies and procedures. Familiarity with SPC, PFMEA, Process Control Plans, 8D Corrective Action Strategy and Layered Process Audits. Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and Gear Analyzer familiarity.
