POSITION DUTIES SUMMARY: The MES Business Analyst will provide MES application management services and support for Faurecia manufacturing facility Just-in-Time and Traceability systems throughout Faurecia's North American operations; work with engineering and plant operations staff to define the MES manufacturing processes and controls in line with Faurecia company standards, including creating functional blueprints, and will manage MES application change requests; support program launch deployments on both new and existing manufacturing lines, and will support the definition and creation of monitoring jobs managing MES system performance; provide escalated MES incident support services in coordination with other support teams and local plant management, and will continually maintain productive relationships with external MES vendors; perform root cause analyses of MES system-related problems and issues, as well as audits of system performance; implement MES system-related lessons learned, and will assume a governing role in ensuring that system documentation is current for all deployed Faurecia manufacturing environments; execute Faurecia MES system-related training as needed to system users and colleagues, and will proactively coach colleagues and Faurecia personnel in order to improve the effective use of the MES system; coordinate all needed internal and external resources in order to delivery functionality of the MES environment according to identified timelines and costs, and will address MES support issues regarding critical break/fix scenarios; coordinate closely with plant-level managerial representatives for IT, program management, engineering, and production control, as well as with various levels of corporate management, and will liaise with project teams for new program implementation processes, including new lines, new model year introductions, etc.; interface with external software and service providers. 30% Domestic and International travel during project launch phases.
