Job Description:

Design Project Manager at Capgemini Engineering, emphasizing diversity and inclusion, supervising the evaluation and convergence of sub-systems for both product and process to achieve geometric design quality objectives for the equipped body across the entire project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

In addition to leading intricate projects, accountable for supervising issue resolution and addressing partner concerns, raising to PDO/Engineering management when goals are not achieved. Ensures consistency to Quality Key Performance Indicators (critical metrics) and maintains alignment with project timelines.

Validates the adaptability of design and processes according to standards, integrating knowledge and lessons learned. Drives convergence and validation cadence for Build Objectives (gap/flush), supervising planning and issue resolution for critical metrics.

Qualifications:

Possesses a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, coupled with 5 years of related work experience.

Demonstrates knowledge of issue resolution and partner concern processes, along with a profound understanding of vehicle design, assembly, and process control.

Shows proficiency in design principles, KPI metrics, and applies robust analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to collaborate with multifunctional teams.

Capable of formulating action plans and expeditiously driving procedures to resolution.

Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Google, with additional experience in Teamcenter CAD as a plus. Familiarity with DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) proactive and/or reactive quality tools, coupled with a proven understanding of UG/NX CAD systems.

A self-motivated individual excelling in meeting targets and collaborating optimally in diverse teams. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are important.
