We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern who is enthusiastic about electrification in the automotive industry. This role will be part of Vitesco Technologies Electrification Engineering Power Electronics based in Auburn Hills, Michigan

Job Description:

  • Support mechanical design and development of products (such as Inverter, etc.), and electro-mechanical components (such as connectors, busbar, cooler, PCB, etc.)

  • Support creation & managing of 3D models of components and assemblies and detailed product documentation with component- and assembly drawings

  • Learn and support change and configuration management related to project

  • Support cross-discipline information exchange with the creation of work instructions, product specification and necessary presentations

  • Support project team meetings

Basic Requirements:

  • Must be enrolled in a US accredited degree program pursuing degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • MS Office Knowledge and skills

  • Must maintain a minimum GPA of a 3.0

  • English, fluent conversation, good written and oral communication skills, and interpersonal skills
