Manager - R&D, Auburn Hills, Michigan: Lead product design for manufacturability and assembly. Evaluate designs to ensure that products meet engineering principles and customer requirements. Design, formulate and produce complete product related changes for current products in a continuous improvement environment. Lead and support design failure mode and effect analysis techniques, statistical tolerance analysis techniques, functional dimensioning, and geometric tolerancing to perform root cause evaluations of development and manufacturing issues. Develop, design, prototype, and test products, while pursuing cost and quality improvements. Prepare and maintain up-to-date engineering records according to project requirements. Utilize skills such as GD& T, DFMEA, CAD, QMS & APQP. Requirements: Master's degree or Equivalent in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related plus 1 year of work experience in Mechanical engineering field.
