**Talascend is currently seeking a Shipping & Logistics Specialist for a contract opportunity located in Auburn Hills, Michigan

OVERVIEW:**

This position is for a shipping and logistics specialist working within the Prototype Build Engineering group.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitating interregional procurement requests.
  • Tracking expenditures between regions.
  • Submitting requests for expedited transport.
  • Ensuring document compliance for internal and external business partners.

* REQUIREMENTS:*

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, Engineering, or other applicable disciplines. Other degrees will be considered in combination with relevant work experience associated with logistics.
  • Prior related experience in Logistics.
  • Strong Leadership and Communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Comfortable with preparing presentations and presenting to all levels of management.
