In this role, you will provide general administrative services and secretarial assistance for local country, function and business level executives in Robotics and Discrete Automation, in Auburn Hills, Michigan.This is a position with global grade 14This position reports to Robotics US Country LeaderYour responsibilities

Performs complex administrative activities and takes responsibility for delivering specific department processes/programs. Conducts research, compiles and issues special reports, prepares presentations, organization charts, correspondence, etc. and other documents as requested. Responsible for different communication tasks within the area of responsibility, ensuring knowledge and information is shared and keeping others up to date. Implements ABB processes and initiates continuous improvement of administrative processes and procedures to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Acts as point of contact for internal/external inquiries by phone and email, initiates action and makes judgments about urgency of issues. Provides confidential support to individual executives and/or management team members. Arranges business critical internal/external events, including travel arrangements, itineraries, accommodation, conference registration, visiting speakers etc. Provides financial support at a department/project level and monitors budget spend.  Will also raise and approve requisitions, invoices, etc.Your background

Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience, OR Associate's degree and 10 years of relevant experience OR High School/GED with 12 years of relevant experience. Must possess the skills necessary to work with senior level managers and global stakeholders. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Office 365). Capable of supporting internal teams including correspondence globally within the business and externally with customers as needed. Must be able to execute complex tasks with minimal supervision. Ability to travel up to 10%.
