A Procurement Manager is needed in Auburn, Alabama.
Job Duties:
Direct and provide directions for overall procurement operations of the company for manufacturing of automotive parts such as EVA pipes, intercooler pipes, hose pipe assemblies, fuel, fluid pipes, coolant pipes, manifold and fluid pipes, and oil strainers. Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures to manage overall purchasing activities. Evaluate pricing information to develop cost reduction strategies. Ensure to control the budget of the purchasing department. Coordinate with other departments for development of specifications for equipment, products, and materials. Direct preparation of regular reports on procurement strategies, market conditions, and purchasing costs. Oversee subordinates in negotiating contracts and determinizing terms and conditions with suppliers.
