Sartorius Manager of Controlling (m|f|d) in Aubagne, France

We are currently seeking a Manager of Controlling (m|f|d) for our Controlling business based at Aubagne. In this position, you are a key contact for local plant management, central finance and controlling functions and supervisor for local controllers for French, Belgian and Italian companies. You communicate business results in a transparent/objective manner and contribute to the success of the Sartorius group.

  • Take an active role as a business partner to local management

  • Manage a team of local controllers; drive change and empower the team

  • Collaborate closely with local/global finance and controlling functions

  • Report financial results to finance and non-finance management in a transparent and timely manner

  • Take an active role in expansion and other projects

  • Steer and streamline the local budget process

  • Develop and improve business performance management procedures and systems

  • Identify risks and opportunities in cooperation with local management

  • Implement a local risk reporting including the financial valuation

  • Provide ad hoc reporting when necessary

What will convince us

  • A Bachelors degree with Finance/Controlling focus, Master degree would be a benefit

  • Extensive, proven experience of working within controlling in a multi-national company, preferable as a business partner in a manufacturing environment

  • Proven years of effective leadership skills

  • Excellent commercial and financial knowledge and skills

  • Relevant experience in MS Office, SAP, esp. FI/CO, BW and Tableau

  • Ability to analyze quickly and take appropriate action

  • Assertiveness, readiness to innovate

  • Effective written and communication skills in English and French
