Our client in Attleboro, MA is seeking an Electromechanical Assembler to join their team. As an Electromechanical Assembler, you will be part of the Production Team Name. The ideal candidate will have reliability, strong work ethic and teamwork skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Electromechanical Assembler

Location: Attleboro, MA

Pay Range: $16 - $22/hour

What’s the Job?

  • Responsible for the make / form / test of customized snap acting bimetal discs used to sense and react to changes in ambient temperature conditions, which form the core of a thermostat device

  • Will work from detailed routers to identify the material, equipment and form tool operations needed to achieve a disc with the desired operating temperature setpoints. i.e. (Top Temperature) / (Bottom Temperature), as needed

  • The target disc form will be verified by testing in a series of fluid baths (water/alcohol/oil) to validate the desired temperature behavior for the given form lot

  • As most of the parts the operator will be working with are approximate to the size of a dime, small part dexterity is a must

What’s Needed?

  • A strong attention to detail and a high degree of patience is a necessary as some disc tolerances require iterative make & test cycles ensuring the operator has achieved the optimum form for the given temperature setpoints

  • Experience in small part assembly or medical device are desired

  • Basic math skills

  • Good eyesight to observe changes in material behavior

  • Ability to stand for prolong periods
