Adecco is currently recruiting for a few Senior Production Builders (Switches) to work from 3:30 PM to Midnight in Attleboro, Massachusetts. Pay for this position is $20 an hour. A higher pay rate is possible for a very well qualified candidate.

The senior production builder (switches) is responsible for the assembly/test/inspection of a diverse portfolio of custom and catalog offerings of electromagnetic hermetically sealed switches used in the Aerospace, Defense, and other related industries.

Senior builders can interpret product build details from blueprints (envelope and assembly drawings) with little guidance and perform the necessary manufacturing operations to complete product assembly. This includes setup and breakdown of necessary tooling, or fixtures required for the given device configuration. The candidate must possess enhanced understanding of sequential manufacturing build steps and validate conformance in each step up to final product completion.

A strong technical production knowledge and demonstrated capacity of LEVEL 2 package builds. Detailed knowledge of the following build operations including and how inputs to the equipment setup impact product assembly. This includes the following, but not limited to:

Resistance Welding (Setup & Electrode Selection)

  • TIG Welding (Tooling and weld parameter definition)

  • Pneumatic & Hydraulic Press Setup & Operation (Die Sets, stops and input pressure.)

  • Production Lathe setup and use. (Tooling and fixture identification)

  • Electrical Testing (Dielectric & Terminal Identification)

  • Equipment Setup (All)

  • Defect Identification (Visual & Microscopic Analysis)

Essential Functions:

The candidate is the Subject Matter Expert in build operations and will support to the Team Leader by providing guidance to operators in setup and quality requirement verification, work with Manufacturing Team Leaders & Engineers in the ability to identify nonconformances with material, equipment & tooling to guarantee quality of product build. Must be able to provide guidance to less experienced or manufacturing team members that require support to identify known good setup, prior to build.

Provide inputs to seek continuous improvement activities to reduce material scrap and improve yields.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

  • Possess strong organizational skills, a positive attitude and the ability to work well as a team.

  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, as well as, comprehend verbal instructions and effectively communicate verbally.

  • Ability to self-start yet take orders as directed.

  • Consistent and punctual attendance required. Must be available to work assigned shifts and required overtime.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
