Engineered Materials Solutions Millwright Mechanic in Attleboro, Massachusetts

EMS is searching for an experienced Millwright Mechanic for our AWS Night Shift!  Full time - Every other Fri-Sat-Sun off!  Plus days off during the week. 

$2,000 sign-on on bonus  

Position Summary:

Performs routine repairs and maintenance and assists in more complex maintenance and repair of plant facilities and equipment. 

Responsibilities:

  • Make routine, periodic inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery and equipment.

  • Tests, inspects, troubleshoots and repairs machines and equipment

  • Maintains repair logs

  • Works from maintenance schedule

  • Performs basic painting, machine and equipment repair, sheet metal fabrication and welding.  Troubleshoots equipment or facilities problems and report them to supervisor. 

  • Uses variety of hand, power tools.

  • Other duties as required.

    Education and Experience:

  • High School/Trade School

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience in a heavy manufacturing environment

  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills
