ASRC Federal Holding Company Software Developer (Python/Jenkins) in Atlantic City, New Jersey

ASRC Federal Technical Services is seeking a Software Developer to join our team that supports the Federal Aviation Administration in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. This role will make an impact by meeting the future needs of our FAA customer that includes securing data across networks in the enterprise.

  • We are looking for an experienced developer to support RMLS applications development. The successful candidate will collaborate with team members in resolving technical issues within the RMLS system, as well as documentation and test solutions.

  • May be required to support software installation

  • Able to identify and solve problems quickly and efficiently

  • Able to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions to challenges

  • Will be working with some guidance from a subject matter expert

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Requirements :

Required

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Math, or a Bachelor’s field degree in another technical field with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and seven (7) years of related work experience in a computer science or math field OR Master’s Degree in any field of study with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours of either undergrad or grad study in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and five (5) years related work experience in a computer science or math field.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Python Programming

  • Experience with Jenkins implementing Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) processes including automation builds and testing software projects

  • Web application development using .NET

  • Database developer background (Oracle/SQL)

  • JavaScript programming

  • Knowledge and experience in software development and test under agile methodology

  • Develops new features and modifies the structure of existing software products

  • Troubleshooting application problems

  • Provide field support

  • US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US

  • Has been living in the US for at least the past 3 years
