Role description:

The qualified candidate would be responsible for assisting with maintenance inspection oversight of Maintenance Engineering and Inspection (MEI) projects.

Role accountabilities: Responsible for fulfilling assigned inspection workload, while coordinating with multiple contractors and supervising personnel Assisting with identification of maintenance issues and creating work list and putting together Invitation To Bid (ITB) packages for identified maintenance needs Overseeing and conducting maintenance inspections on roadway projects in accordance with client's adapted procedures and policies. Providing maintenance inspection services for conformance to Plans and Specifications for all roadway, structures, and specialty items. Observing measures and recording quantities for contractor payment. Reviewing traffic control as required or requested. Responsible for ongoing maintenance work throughout your area through constant communication with active contractors in your area

Qualifications and Experience:

Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent: 3-5 years' experience on roadway or maintenance inspection Inspection work may require to work days, nights, and weekends with little advanced notice. Inspection work may require some time working in an office or field setting. Inspection work may require inspections across multiple projects and/or clients at any given time.

Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, or similarly related Construction Management Degree 10 years' experience on roadway or site construction inspection

Certifications 10 Hour OSHA Safety Certification (Preferred)

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions.
