Position Available in the Following Location: Atlanta, GA

Job Summary

UPS is seeking an energetic and dynamic individual to join our Sustainability team. If this sounds like your ideal opportunity, we want to hear from you!

The Sustainability Fellow will contribute to the execution of UPS’s Corporate sustainability strategies. He/She will be integral to the completion of the greenhouse gas inventory. In addition, the Sustainability Intern will engage with internal stakeholders on projects in support of our sustainability goals and reporting.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Monthly support of Greenhouse gas accounting process

  • Develops standard and ad-hoc reports

  • System support and management of Sustainability reporting platform

  • Evaluates sustainability disclosure requirements and determine impact to the business

  • Performs data collection and analysis to answer questions and provide management with insights into company results, trends, and performance

Knowledge and Skills

  • Detail oriented with ability to distinguish between “big picture” concepts and detailed facts, while ensuring tasks are completed accurately and with appropriate level of detail to impact end goals

  • Excellent written and oral communications, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

  • Displays ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines; is enthusiastic, organized, self-motivated, and a creative thinker

  • Possesses ability to work with large quantities of complex data
